SEAN MCENANEY, OF HAMMERDOWN HOLDINGS INC, ANNOUNCES THE ACQUISITION OF TROY HULL HOME IMPROVEMENTS, A LEADING RENOVATION COMPANY SERVING DURHAM REGION AND THE SURROUNDING AREA.
Commenting on the acquisition, new owner, Sean McEnaney said, “This is an exciting time for us. Troy Hull Home Improvements has been servicing the area for over 30 years and has a very loyal following of customers. Although the name will change to HammerDown Home Improvement, we will continue to build upon Troy’s commitment to offering excellent renovation experiences to the home owners of this community.”
As former general manager and co-owner of an insurance restoration company, Sean brings a wealth of knowledge to the home improvement industry. A dedicated professional, he emerged in the business by boasting a high level of customer service, quality assurance and adherence to strick deadlines. Sean has successfully secured and completed over 25 million dollars in restoration project sales and was awarded the Certified Restorer designation, the industry’s distinguished, sought after designation. In 2012, he joined the Restoration Industry Association (RIA) and was integral to expanding the organization into Canada. In 2015, Sean was invited to sit as a board member of the Restoration Contractors of Canada (RCOC), an advocacy group for the sustainability of restoration contractors in Canada. Forever engaged in personal and professional growth, he then became President and Managing Partner of Senior Helpers Durham, a franchise specializing in home care service for the elderly.
Troy Hull Home Improvements originated as a painting company in 1987. In the mid 90’s, Troy expanded into the renovation and restoration end of the business, making a name for himself as a reputable contractor with an in-depth knowledge of the industry. Troy Hull Home Improvements were awarded Best of TrustedPros in 2013, 2015 and 2016 by providing clients with the best possible service in the industry. In February of 2017, Troy made the decision to sell his business to allow for focus on a new career. Troy met with Sean McEnaney several times prior to the sale in April, 2017.
Commenting on the sale, former owner, Trull Hull said, “I feel that Sean is perfect fit for Troy Hull Home Improvements. He will keep up the reputation and keep the team together, both of which, are important to me. This transition of ownership has been a smooth and successful one.”
As of December 1st, Troy Hull Home Improvements will change it’s name to HammerDown Home Improvements, reflecting the company’s commitment to focusing on one project at a time and getting work done. In alignment with the new name, the company will introduce a new corporate identity and website.
Offering full service renovations and/or specific contracting services, HammerDown Home Improvement specializes in basements, kitchens, washrooms, open concept living, accessible living for the elderly, insurance restoration projects, decks, tile, flooring, drywall, paint, custom carpentry and window installation.
